WindowBlinds 8.01

WindowBlinds Editor's Review

Now while we all love Microsoft Windows, let’s be honest, it’s interface can get a little stale and boring at times, and that’s why there was an awful lot of excitement in the office when we were told about WindowBlinds.

What is it and what does it do?

With WindowBlinds you can completely transform the look and feel of Microsoft windows in the blink of an eye. You do this through the application of new visual styles, also called skins, and there are thousands of these little fellas to choose from, all free and easy to download from the WindowBlinds website. Here’s the special part. A WindowBlinds skin transforms windows into something which resembles an alternate operating system. You can pick anything from your favourite sport to your dream car, or perhaps you have something else completely different in mind. All the colours, textures, wallpapers, fonts, and transparency levels are yours to control and quite simply anything is possible with this software because it doesn’t affect your computer speed and uses very little memory. You really can completely change the way Windows looks with this classy piece of software.

Pros: Considering the amount of time everyone spends on their computers these days, it’s about time we were all given the opportunity to customise them completely to our individual preferences.

Cons: There is none. Moving forward is always a good thing in our book.

Conclusion: Familiarity may well breed contempt but variety is the spice of life, and with WindowBlinds you can finally pull the curtains on the drab and dull Microsoft Windows interfaces of the past and draw them back to reveal brave new Vistas.
